Biography of the Movement

Founder's Biography

Mohammed Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, FNSE, FNIQS, is more than a politician—he is a force of change. As a two-time Governor of Kano State (1999–2003, 2011–2015), Nigeria’s first Minister of Defence in the Fourth Republic, and a former Senator, Kwankwaso has left an indelible mark on Nigerian politics.

A bold reformer and a champion of the people, he has redefined leadership through groundbreaking infrastructure projects, transformative education policies, and grassroots empowerment. His unwavering dedication has earned him a massive political following, especially in the North, where the Kwankwasiyya Movement stands as a testament to his impact.

From shaping Kano into an economic powerhouse to influencing national politics, Kwankwaso’s journey is one of resilience, vision, and service.
